Lamborghini Owner Says He Can't Afford The $600 Ticket, Aventador Impounded

A 22-year old in Canada had his car impounded for driving without insurance. Not really news, right?

But what if that car was a Lamborghini Aventador? Now we care.

The Aventador in question was pulled over in Richmond, British Columbia, because it didn't have a front license plate, a minor infraction.

But when the mountie ran the plates, he discovered that the car wasn't insured. So he issued a $568 ticket and had it towed.

Even better? The driver, who was also the owner, told the officer that the ticket was "too expensive" and that he can't afford it.

So you can afford a $400,000 Lambo but not a $568 ticket? Sure. That sounds likely.
