Our Dutch buddies at AutoGespot posted a few new spy shots of that white Gallardo that's been spotted hither and thither. Eyewitnesses (or is that earwitnesses?) say the prototype sounds unlike the V10 — with a distinctive exhaust burble — and have therefore concluded it's powered by Audi's 4.2-liter FSI V8. We've heard an alternate theory this Lambo is actually a test mule for the V12 TDI version of the Audi R8. Either way, without a decent hear of this thing, we're saying nothing more. [AutoGespot]
