Harrison Ford Reportedly Crashes Plane On Golf Course

Harrison Ford has reportedly crashed a vintage plane into a golf course. The 72-year-old actor supposedly walked away from the crash, but has been hospitalized for serious injuries.

NBC and TMZ are both reporting that Ford was the pilot. He was alone, but details about what led to the crash haven't been divulged. The NTSB is reportedly en route.

The plane crashed into Penmar Golf Course in Venice, which is along the flight path of the Santa Monica Airport.

According to NBC:

The actor was stabilized and taken to a local hospital. Sources said he sustained cuts to his head.

His injuries were originally described as "critical," but sources emphasized they are better characterized as serious, including lacerations to the head and possible fractures.

The plane in the photos looks like Ford's vintage WWII trainer, which he was flying in the area just a few days ago.

Harrison Ford's publicists have stated they will issue a statement soon.
