Kentucky approves tax incentives for the next-gen Corvette

The state of Kentucky has coughed up $7.5 million in tax incentives for a future $131 million expansion of General Motors' Bowling Green plant for the next-generation Corvette. GM, angling for more, continues to play coy with the media.

WTF? Really, do we really need our tax dollars going to this? Im pretty liberal, but I really don't think I want my money going to building plastic toys. A commercial truck plant? Sure. But this is something that Government Motors earns it's name with. It's shit like this that makes me made at this countries values. There are plenty of Schools in Detroit (or anywhere for that matter) that could of REALLY used 8 million bucks. I also think that the schools are a bit more important in the long run...
