Jeremy Clarkson's epic Forza Motorsport 4 live-action trailer

If your hands are already soaked with sweat in anticipation for the release of Forza Motorsport 4 on October 11th (in North America, Oct. 14th in Europe), we've got some good news.

First, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, as of today, you're able to download the demo for Forza Motorsport 4. All other Xbox Live members will be able to download it starting on Oct. 7.

Second, and just as excitingly, Turn 10 Studios has produced the above live action short film trailer titled "Endangered Species," where Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson narrates a tongue-in-cheek illustration of something many car lovers already know: that the real world is becoming an unfriendly place for those who truly love automobiles. It also gives further credence to what we've said in the past — the future of auto enthusiasm will be found on the digital track.

Also, we're told the soliloquy is also used in the intro to the game itself — so consider this a first-hand sneak peak at Forza 4's intro — well, if you close your eyes anyway.

Come back later this week for our hands-on impression of the game — and a bunch of other fun Forza 4-powered stuff.

Full Disclosure: We partnered editorially with Turn 10 on "Forzalopnik" - two game packs for Forza Motorsport 3 - and we're working with Turn 10 to partner even more closely on Forza 4.

Seriously forza? You already know your product is inferior to gran turismo's…you need to do your own thing…going after top gear just because it was featured in gt5? do you really need to look like the said excuse for a rip off that you actually are? Competition is great…but you'll never catch up if you don't want to innovate yourself…if your not up for it maybe you should aim for competitors that are actually on your level…need for speed? gotham maybe? cause this was just sad...
