Jeremy Clarkson Used To Experiment With Modified Cars Back In The 90s

Welcome to Sunday Matinee, where we highlight classic car reviews or other longer videos I find on YouTube. Kick back and enjoy this blast from the past.

You know, we all do crazy things when we're young. Some of even do a little... experimenting, if you know what I mean. Perhaps you did too. Maybe you tried some interesting illegal substances or mingled with questionable romantic partners. But when Jeremy Clarkson was a younger man, he used to experiment with modified cars.

That's the subject of this Top Gear segment from 1994 or 1995, which focuses on high-end tuner cars for people who just don't get enough out of the stock cars that normal folks drive around in.

There's a Jaguar XJ with a bored-out engine and two turbos called the Stealth Tornado (which is a terrifyingly awesome name), an early Hennessey Venom Viper with 635 horsepower, and the Jaguar XJ220S — the Jaaaaaag supercar tuned by TWR Motorsport.

I wouldn't mind experimenting with any of these crazy cars. Which one would you pick?
