Jeep's Hurricane (don't call it Dungeoness) concept, which made its debut yesterday in Detroit, has more in common with a mud crab than a traditional off-road vehicle. Seriously cool feats of mechanical engineering enable such features as a steering system that can swivel all four wheels inward — making for a turning radius of zero, as in "on a dime" — and a transfer-case that allows the power from the Hurricane's fore and aft Hemis (that's right, two) to drive the left and right wheels separately.
