Jay Leno Rides One Of Our Favorite Customs In Years

The Ronin remains one of all our all-time favorite bikes in the past decade. After the original prototype was built back in 2009, we didn’t think there was a shot that Magpul would actually build them at scale. We were wrong, and now Jay Leno has gotten his hands on one.

Magpul bought up some of the last Buell 1125Rs after Harley-Davidson shut down the company that same year, and it’s making 50 evil, two-wheeled robots, 47 of which are going to customers.

Leno does his Leno thing, but surprisingly, his comments about the Ronin not being a custom showpiece but an honest-to-God, ridable, comfortable motorcycle proves how much good stuff the original 1125R had to offer and how Magpul managed to improved it.
