Japanese GP Goes to Fuji for '07

While it hosted the Japanese Grand Prix when we were knee-high to a tadpole back in '76 and '77, Suzuka's generally considered the Big Papa-san of Rising Sun raceways due to its status as the home of the venerable race. But that might be about to change. It's now been confirmed that the 2007 race will be held at the foot of 'ol Mt. Fuji. Interestingly, Fuji's owned by Toyota (which also owns a percentage of Fuji Heavy Industries), while Suzuka, of course, is owned by Honda. Nice shin-kick to the Hondas, Toyota.
