Apparently, in 2020, not only will we have driveway car-wash appliances, but the DeLorean will be back and humans will have evolved into green, faceless silhouettes. A group of designers came up with the prototype drought-busting wash system — which uses only a gallon of water in the form of steam and water vapor to cleanse cars — for the Motor Industry Research Association, commissioned by Ebay. Now, on to the single-tablet dinner and wisecracking robot maid.
