On today's Jalopnik precast, Spinelli and Farago have a love fest over the next, seven-speed DSG box from VW/Audi — which WhatCar? says will be out later this year. Then they wonder if the new Cadillac CTS's front end is gaudy or not and if stuffing a new Mercedes into a racetrack wall at 130 mph offers commensurate bragging rights.
Seven speeds? I could get used to that, especially if they are closer together than the six in the 2.7T. I don't even use sixth at the track, but it's nice for mileage.
Stuffing anything into anything (or anyone) at 130 is much more bragalicious than stuffing the wife's two week old (to us) A6 2.7T into a snowbank at 5mph cause I forgot it's 600lbs heavier than my Talon.
