You thought we'd forgotten about the poll we ran last week — in which we asked readers to select from the cars and trucks nominated for North American Car and Truck of the Year (ok, guilty). The turnout wasn't bad, but the results were a semi-shocker. Among cars nominated, you guys picked the 2006 Honda Civic as Car of the Year — with 20.1% of the vote — and the Honda Ridgeline as Truck of the Year — with 21.1%. Anyone care to comment on how the Ridgeline, which has yet to attract real interest among buyers, beat, say, the Land Rover Sport? We'll keep the poll open another month and see if anything changes before the real NACTOYs are announced in January.
