Jaguar, under pressure to improve sales amid fierce competition from rivals, BMW and Mercedes, and a weak dollar to the pound, is looking to draw more sales from the lucrative U.S. luxury market. To do that, the Ford division is betting on a longer, roomier version of its big XJ8 sedan and a new X-series wagon.

Yes to the boat, a fine vehicle according to the Chicago Sun Times's Dan Jedlicka, no to the wagon, according to me. There's no need for a Vista Cruiser version of the lukewarm X Series; I'd suggest a hotter sports model to compete with the BMW 330i.
