Jaguar is reportedly recasting itself as a niche maker of high-margin cars by cutting output while carefully orienting its line toward profitable vehicles, like its XK Coupe. As Edmunds Inside Line reports, the company shelved a reported Freelander-based crossover in favor of a Cayenne challenger, and may be considering a supercar and a luxury four-seater like the Mercedes CLS. It looks like Ford's holistic plan to reverse the fortunes of its Premier Automotive Group of luxury brands finally made it to Jaguar.
