Jaguar hardly needs advertising to make you want one. Since switching from producing motorcycle sidecars to building sleek luxury cars in 1935, the British great has created some of the most elegant cars the world has ever seen. But the advertisements are beautiful, too. They give those of us without the means to purchase one of these Coventry creations an opportunity to admire them from a quiet, deferential distance.
