We get dozens of emails every hour asking one question. That questions? Which is faster: a Bugatti Veyron Supersport or a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse? Well, wonder no more, dear readers, for we have the answer.
This Veyron on Veyron race, which we think might be the most expensive two car drag race in history, comes from a stop on the Goldrush Rally and was caught by Drag Times.
Who wins? They Veyron wins, silly. But which 1,200 horsepower monster was the fastest down the 1/4 mile? The times were within a tenth of each other, but it looks like the hardtopped Supersport ran a 10.4 at 144 MPH and the convertible Vitesse ran a 10.5 at 145 MPH.
So there you have it, if you're at the drag strip with your Veyron and you have a Vitesse, don't race against the guy in the Supersport.
