Much to our dismay, the US hardly ever gets the cream of Japanese automakers' stables. Check out this new Japan-only Toyota Mark X, which exhibits a quality in fit and finish that we could only dream of from US-spec Toyotas. Could it be the X will inform the next Lexus IS sport sedan? Or will it stay in the home country and remain solely in the grasp of salarymen and drifting champions' car-show-model girlfriends? We can hear the gossip mill start milling already.
