Powered by an electric induction motor over Sodium Nickel Chloride batteries, the NXG can travel 125 miles on a charge, at a top speed of around 75mph. A high-res, touch-screen display handles all of its dashboard indicators, including speedo, charge strength, range and other "critical sensor inputs," as well as personal communication features such as GPS-based in-vehicle navigation, a GPRS modem for Internet and e-mail and digital music.
