Law enforcement agencies from across the U.S. have reached out to Jalopnik for help with car identifications since your input was critical to solving, among others, a hit-and-run last year.

Today, we bring you evidence from an ongoing homicide investigation involving an unidentified vehicle.

On March 29, 76-year-old Mary C. Austgen's body was found inside her white 2011 GMC Yukon Denali at the Majestic Star Casino in Gary, Ind. She'd been fatally shot, and the killing remains unsolved today.

Surveillance footage has seemingly pinpointed a suspect and the vehicle he was driving. From the Times of Northwest Indiana:

The man is seen entering the casino via the parking garage and leaving through the front valet parking area and then entering into an unknown black vehicle that left the scene.

While police there are seeking help to identify a suspect who was seen at Austgen's family-owned business the day before her body was discovered, perhaps narrowing down a make and model of the car would help break the case. The quality leaves much to be desired, but other photos are available via the TNI link.

UPDATE: The suspect has been found.
