Law enforcement agencies from across the U.S. have reached out to Jalopnik for help with car identifications since your input was "critical" to solving a hit-and-run earlier this year.
Today, tipster Max writes with with a case from Colorado in which police are seeking "a four-door dark blue sedan with a spoiler [and] may have had five spoke rims."
Seems the driver of said vehicle (a slender man in his 20s, roughly 5'7" with short brown hair and stubble on his face, and wearing "a red cap and red jersey") tried to kidnap a 13-year-old boy on Saturday night. (the boy's mom grabbed a camera and shot a photo of alleged pedo's vehicle.)
This occurred about 15 miles from a town reeling from the murder and dismemberment of 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, and a month after a "stranger danger" alert was issued for a guy in a similar vehicle.
Max wrote that, based on the picture above, he disagrees with the Toyota Corolla assessment. Do you? If so, what do you think it is? We'll pass it along to authorities in Colorado.

Update: According to a Sunday morning report, the man has turned himself in. Seems as if the child misunderstood his intentions.
