Apparently, this awesomely funny bit, created as a sales pitch for one man's 1988 Dodge, has been circulating for a while, but we couldn't let it go by without our endorsement. For those of you living in other parts of the world, the Dodge Aries (and Plymouth Reliant), known by Chrysler as K-cars, were built in the US between 1981 and 1989. Like the Volkswagen Beetle before it, the much-maligned economy sled found itself parked behind countless high schools, transported countless co-eds to keggers, and provided deep cover for countless extracurricular activities. Its upside (and downside) was a sturdy, 2.2 liter four that ran forever, but churned out fewer horsepower than a farm wagon. On a good day.
