Tuner Insists They're Trying To Build Their April Fools Off-Road GT-R

Nissan GT-R tuner Switzer Performance of Oberlin, Ohio released this jacked-up GT-R cartoon yesterday. Their receptionist laughed at me when I called asking about it, but the guy who made the illustration is maintaining that the shop is "figuring out how to do it."

I mean sure the "render" is silly, and Switzer's claim that they drew inspiration from "a customer who wanted a VR38 GT-R engine in an Infiniti QX80 SUV" was actually pretty funny. But it wouldn't really be beyond the realm of possibility to lift a GT-R, would it?

If somebody did pull it off, it'd be a way cool semi-factory alternative competitor to the homespun Rally Fighter.

Anybody see the potential for a Baja-ready rendition of the Nissan GT-R?
