It's a continuance of what our buddy Wade said is a "ridiculous Russian-doll situation" at Hummer. Following up on a report earlier this year indicating Hummer was considering a Jeep Wrangler competitor, dubbed H4, Automotive News says the GM brand plans to show off a conceptual version of that very truck at the Detroit show in January (no, the picture is a fakie). Production, AN, says, is assured for the 2010 model year, though there's still no word on which architecture the H4 would be built (no Daewoo-built front-driver, that's for sure). Word is, it'll have more serious off-road capabilities than its H2 and H3 siblings. And by that, we mean "some."
