At a base level, we enjoy art cars. At another, we find them annoying, cloying, and often the work of people with little in the way of artistic talent or aesthetic vision. Still, the WTF factor is often high, which counts for points, and even though we may not want to associate with some of the people who drive these things, we have to say that we probably wouldn't care to hang out with most Formula One drivers, either. However, we do have a soft spot in our heart for David Crow of Seattle, WA, who built a red-stiletto shoe-car as a tribute to his girlfriend. A girlfriend who summarily left him. Here then, is to the sad sacks and their vehicles, as well as to those who are actually occasionally inspired, rather than borderline psychotic.
