We've seen the new IndyCar aerokits for this year, but how do the cars drive with all those fancy add-ons? Well, for one, they make Barber Motorsports Park look like a go-kart track when they run it in what appears to be fast-forward. Here's an onboard from this week's test. Enjoy.
Welcome to Onboard of the Week, a feature where we spend that pesky time between races looking at awesome footage from inside the car.
You can see what drivers are talking about when it comes to being able to carry more speed into the corners this year. These cars are insanely quick.
This is aboard Sébastien Bourdais' number 11 KVSH Racing Chevrolet IndyCar. The Chevrolet package was the fastest on practice day, however, that just gave rise to rumors of Honda sandbagging. (Of course.)
We'll see who's really the fastest at the first race at St. Petersburg on March 29.
