The TSA is quickly becoming America's most hated agency (you're welcome meter maids) and for damn good reason—stealing from veterans, hassling kids, hassling handicapped kids, and stealing from everybody else. They've become a greater threat than whatever they're supposed to be protecting us from.
So when considering transportation for my trip to LA this weekend, I realized that I would rather drive 14 hours in three days than deal with the hassles the TSA present (lord know what No-Fly lists I'm on these days). How about you, what's your threshold radius of distance or time, where another moment behind the wheel bodes worse than the prospect of being felt up or robbed by airport security?
