In contrast to the massive de-mobilization taking place at some automaking concerns, Honda and Suzuki are having trouble keeping up with demand. Suzuki, despite limited automotive success in the American market, is adding 380,000 more cars per year to its pool via construction of new plants in Japan and Hungary. Meanwhile, the success of Honda's Fit in the US has taken the Japanese company somewhat by surprise, leading them to divert cars from a Chinese factory just to keep up with demand in the North American market. Meanwhile, Wee Willie Clay, Tom La Sorda and the friends of Rick W. have gotta be wishing they were somewhere else right now.
