Honda Builds Airbag System for Motorcycles

According to Automotive News, Honda recently took the wraps off an airbag system for motorcycles, which the company plans to offer on its newest Gold Wing touring bike next year. During front crashes — which Honda's research shows causes most serious injuries and fatalities — sensors activate a module between the handlebars that unfurls a soft barrier to keep a rider from sustaining catastrophic impact.
