So this being summer and all, and summer being Concours season, we thought we'd take a quick moment to point out that the great-granddaddy of 'em all, the most prestigious car show within the five nearest solar systems, is happening this weekend at Pebble Beach (our late trombone teacher was once a judge there and worked to bring a Concours event to Sacramento). We also thought it'd be nice of us to toss a credit to the Benicia News (despite the fact that they failed the "d'Elegance" capitalization test), as we once lived in the former California state capital immortalized by Billie Joe Armstrong's other, better band, Pinhead Gunpowder. So, children, get thee to the Monterey Peninsula posthaste for a taste of vehicles whose worth you'll most likely never accumulate in a lifetime of work.
