It may not rival the Grand Old Opry for down-home fiddlin', but Nissan's new, $70 million corporate office — to be built closeby in Franklin, Tennessee — will have plenty of good-ol' human-resources action. The company announced last month it was moving from SoCal, and last week gave away the location, about 15 miles from downtown Nashville, where employees will move temporarily while the new center is being built. Rumors that CEO Carlos Ghosn will wear a a star-spangled fringe jumpsuit on opening day have yet to be confirmed.
