Easy to forget in light of the only modern Bugatti being the hefty Veyron, but back in the 1920's Bugattis, like this Type 35, were ultra-light racers. All that cross-drilled steel is captured in solid bronze in François Chevalier's sculpture.

The Bugatti Type 35 was the car to race in the late 1920’s. One of the most successful racing cars ever built, its lightweight frame rolled on gorgeous alloys and was powered by a 2-liter straight eight.

Chevalier’s sculpture captures the details if not the lack of weight of Ettore’s Monaco menace and can be yours for the low, low price of 45 grand. You could practically line your driveway with a batallion of these for the price of a single Veyron.
