Way back when London really swung (no, not billy clubs, that was the '70s), the 1960s, many in the Top of the Pops set motored along the King's Road in bespoke Minis bearing the name of coachbuilder Harold Radford. Swing forward forty years and Radford Coachbuilders is back, offering a big-ticket version of the Mini Cooper S with 265 brake horsepower, 18" Konig alloys and color-coordinated bodywork. Inside, there's Alcantara interior appointments, deep pile carpets (what, no shag?) and new, high-style instrumentation. Of course, price varies, but it's solidly in the affordability range of a Beatle's grandchild.
