Sony launched the newest version of its ballyhooed driving simulator, Gran Turismo 4, by offering free gas and GT4 track time (er, sim-track time, natch), at a California gas station yesterday. Despite Cali gas being slightly more per gallon than most game developers drink in A&W Root Beer per day, prospective gamers still braved the massive Cali rainfall to tweak out for six or seven minutes.
