GM and Toyota are in talks to extend their cooperation on environmental R&D into a joint venture on fuel-cell vehicles, Forbes is reporting. GM chairman Richard Wagoner, who according to those close to the situation looks dashing in a silk komono and jelly sandals, is said to be heading to Japan over the weekend for the confab with Toyota Motor president Fujio Cho. Spokespeople for both companies, as is their wont, deny all such rumors.
