Get on the Bus: Porsche-Powered VW Westfalia

Readers of Needforspeed.ca will probably be familiar with this insane conversion custom, but for the rest of us, it's a look into Bizarro world. Starting life as a 1973 VW Westfalia bus, this speedbox was fitted with a race-modified 2.7 liter Porsche 911 motor, outfitted (holy crap) with a 10" turbo and intercooler setup from a Western Star diesel rig. The thing can do an estimated 170 mph, despite being as aerodynamically inclined as a copy of Webster's Unabridged dictionary standing on end. You've got to respect someone who can rewrite the laws of physics like that.
