Our pal Bumbeck lives in Montrose, CA on Montrose Ave. even and owns a Honda SuperHawk. He's very, very tired of our Sammy Hagar-esque references to his bike, so we thought we'd inflict one upon y'all instead. In any event, Shanghaiist (there's a Shanghaiist? Who knew?) reports that Chinese authorities, in their push to become an automotive powerhouse, are imposing bans on electric bicycles, saying that they cause congestion and that their discarded batteries pollute. Since when has a communist nation been concerned with pollution? Just asking...
