George Strait—'Run'

Traffic sucks, so why not start your morning off with some music? You provide the toast and we’ll provide the jams.

I’ve been thinking about my April trip to Moab, since my brother recently told me he’ll be flying in to join me. There’s only one issue: He wants to take a vehicle that isn’t my postal Jeep. So it looks like we’ll be rolling 1,700 miles in two of my Jeeps. I haven’t decided 100 percent on this yet, since I’m worried I’ll be pushing my timing/funding limits, but I’m probably just going to go for it.

Since my brother and I will be by ourselves in our respective chariots, we’ll each need some good tunes. One of his faves? “Run” by George Strait. He’s also a big Alan Jackson fan, and just generally keen on older 90s-era country in general.

It’s time to make the greatest road trip country music mix tape ever.
