George Poteet's '68 Charger

Our affinity for classic Dodge Chargers is no secret. We also love guys who cut up and customize classic Mopars, if only to watch the numbers-matching- ber-alles crowd lose it in a Jackson Pollack-esque spew in their Jockeys. Well-known street rod aficionado George Poteet decided he wanted a musclecar, so he went to Hot Rod's boy Friday and lover of the slap bass, Steve Strope at Pure Vision Design. We've gotta say, ol' Steve cooked up a doozy: 472-inch Hemi; lots of form-over function cues. It's an appliance-white menace for destroying that which must be obliterated. We simply must pilot it to speeds of over 170 mph while cranking "Bastille Day." It's really that simple.
