George Clooney to Take Delivery of First Fast, Ugly Electric Tango

The Tango 600, an electric car created by Commuter Cars and built by British racing legends Prodrive, will soon be in the hands of one George Clooney, known for his work on "ER" and in various Stephen Soderbergh flicks. Designed for performance rather than aesthetics, the Tango's designed to park in narrow spaces, and even split lanes like a motorcycle. The odd little bugger even runs 12-second quarter-mile. It'll take an 80% charge in just 10 minutes and features a range of about 80 miles. The thing sounds damn impressive; we just wish it looked sexier. Of course, when you're George Clooney, women throw themselves at you no matter what you're driving, and its narrow width makes it ideal for quick escapes from the paparazzi. [Thanks to Jerry for the tip.]
