Just in time for the holiday season, we welcome a new train of mayhem into the Gawker Media roundhouse. It's The Consumerist, a site that stands up for we hapless consumers as other watchdogs stand down. It's helmed by Joel Johnson (late of Gizmodo, once described as the "bad boy of blogging" (stop snickering, the boy throws a mean ctrl + c). He never met an emptor he didn't caveat, or something. Just go there. It's good.
