Freshened Saab 9-5 to Be Unveiled in Frankfurt

It won't be among the top unveilings in Frankfurt, but Saab's late-cycle freshening of its flagship 9-5 will nonetheless garner its own press event. While the next-generation, German-built Epsilon II—platformed 9-5 won't appear until 2008, the 2006 model has received a few updates that will make it appear less heinously dated. The only details we have from Autocar center on its wider front and rear track and tweaked suspension, plus a mildly update interior. At least it's still built in Sweden.
