Among the raft of automotive concepts shown in Frankfurt last week, one of the most showroom-ready is Kia's Multi-S concept, a tall crossover that hints at the Mazda MPV. Powered by Kia's standard-issue 2.7-liter V6, the Multi-S (that's Sporty, Spacious and Smart) will slot into the expanding crossover wagon genre (what? another freaking genre?) which many believe will define the next five years of non-minivan family cars. Edmunds Inside Line reports the Multi-S will indeed be produced within the next two or three years. We'd be the kids' community college fund on it.
