Despite my pompous prognostications the other week about Formula One entering a "golden era," today's race at Monza was kind of crap. To make up for it, here's the best part of the entire shebang, with Paul Di Resta's brakes locking up on thermal imaging camera.

The whole race at Monza was a big parade, despite my prayers for rain, and Vettel won, again (SPOILER ALERT). That guy is starting to make Schumacher look bad, but at least Big V's got a sense of humor about it.

Anyways, Paul Di Resta, through no fault of anyone but his own, locked up his brakes on the first corner of the first lap. That sent him off, but not before letting us see his tires light up white-hot on the new thermal imaging system that F1 is using.
