Ford's Hottest Hatch: Euro-Only Ford Focus ST

Ford will show a new member of its European Focus line at next month's Geneva show: a hot hatchback dubbed the ST, at next month's Geneva show. The high-performance Focus has more in common with its Ford cousin, the Volvo T5 than the discontinued US-model Focus SVT, with a 2.5-liter, turbocharged five-banger version of Ford's Duratec engine under the hood, pushing 220hp. The Focus ST will go on sale toward the end of 2005, for lucky Europeans to sneer at over strong coffee and abstruse references to Schopenhauer's theory of art and aesthetic experience. Bitchez.
