Sources at Ford confirmed to The Car Connection that Land Rover executives and P. Diddy reps recently discussed producing a P. Diddy edition of the Range Rover, two years after a deal to develop a P. Diddy Lincoln Navigator fell apart over "money issues." Less-reliable sources say the Navigator talks fell apart due to a disagreement over the commercial viability of a proposed 24 carat gold-plated turret and 70mm cannon. For the Range Rover, P. Diddy is said to be considering an optional lightning rod.
