The Ford Flex Titanium is pricey — you can max out the option sheet to an astonishing $54,491 MSRP — but why's it suddenly so popular today? The search term is now a "trending topic" on the front page of Yahoo — one of the biggest portal sites on the web. Why?


Why does this totally smell like a "pay for play" deal? If it is camouflaging an ad campaign as user search content it's pretty sneaky. It's the only reason we can think of for why the uber-expensive edition of the 2011 Ford Flex is showing up as one of the top ten searches on Yahoo! right now.
