Phil and Leigh Aurbach of Las Vegas fell hard for the Smart cars they saw on a trip to France. Their love was requited by Smart distributor, Zap, this week, when the couple got the keys to the first federalized Smart sold in the US at a Zap dealership in Reno, Nevada. Of course, the elephant in the room is how much the Aurbachs must have paid to be the first in line, though no one's reported it yet. We're ballparking it at around $30,000, based on nothing but intuition.
