In a nod to billionaire bakers who deliver their own loaves, Christies announced it will auction a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT "Breadvan" Berlinetta. The Italian version of an English shooting brake wasn't actually designed to deliver bread — it was created following a dispute between Enzo Ferrari and a racing team owned by a "flamboyant" European Count. Nonetheless, it's expected to bring in a ton of bread when it goes on the block in August, 2005 — between $3.5 million and $5 million.
