Exploding Ford Tauruses in Art Installation

We may earn a commission from links on this page.

We may just shoot up to Western Massachusetts this weekend, just to see this cool installation by conceptual artist Cai Guo-Qiang. One section of the four-part piece consists of six Ford Tauruses (Tauari?) suspended in sequence, lit by simulated fireworks explosions. Think Andy Warhol meets Jerry Bruckheimer at a Chinese New Year celebration in San Francisco. The exhibit runs until October, 2005.
