Good Morning! Welcome to The Morning Shift, your roundup of the auto news you crave, all in one place every weekday morning. Here are the important stories you need to know.
Most of the car news is out of the Big Apple this morning as we kick off day two of the 2016 New York Auto Show. Admittedly, this one’s been a... slower show, to put it charitably. It’s been much lighter on car debuts and actual interesting stuff than pretty much anything in 2015.
But hey! Cars are cars, and for now they still have steering wheels and can be operated by actual humans, so let’s party. Here’s a roundup of everything major from yesterday. Today we’ll have lots more from the show floor. (And probably more Facebook Live videos. I’m so, so sorry about that.)
Reverse: Ferrari Relay
Neutral: Favorite Debut From NY2016 So Far?
I’m happy the Toyobaru is getting a second lease on life, and the Miata RF seems great, though opinion is deeply divided over that. I’m definitely eager to see more of this sport sedan concept from Genesis pictured above.
